Young Artists :- Winning pictures on display
The Arts Society Chiltern (previously NADFAS) enjoyed a delightful short presentation of awards to children from 4 local schools for their art entries: Raihana Ehsanullah, a long-time member, presented the awards for pictures on a theme of ‘My Favourite View’. Sarah Mulligan (the Young Arts coordinator) and Wendy Wrigley (the current Chair) were there to give support and congratulations. The winners received a printed canvas of their entry.
The Society has been sponsoring the Young Arts Childrens’ Painting Competition for twelve years now, involving four local schools, with the prize-giving in the Chalfont St. Peter library and the winning paintings are on display at the library for a few weeks.
