Meet Me in St Louis at 11 am

It is the summer of 1903, and everyone in the Smith family eagerly anticipates the opening of the 1904 World’s Fair. Over the course of a year, the family’s mutual respect, tempered with good-natured humor, helps them through romance, opportunity, and heartbreaks. The musical includes seven of the best-loved songs from the film, plus ten additional Martin and Blane songs written specially for the stage. Memorable musical numbers include “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “The Boy Next Door,” “The Trolley Song,” and “Whenever I’m with You.”

REGAN at 2 30 pm

The 1974 television film Regan is the gritty pilot that launched the hit British crime series The Sweeney. It follows the irascible, rule-breaking Detective Inspector Jack Regan as he risks his career to catch the gang responsible for the brutal murder of an undercover cop.

CSP Community Library Meeting Room

Councillor Surgeries

Chalfont St Peter Parish Councillors regularly hold surgeries at the library to meet with local residents who have an issue that they can help with.

Celfunde

On the first Saturday morning of each month, from 10am until 1pm, the library hosts a ‘local history surgery’ open to anyone interested in the history and heritage of Chalfont St Peter. The Celfunde Inheritance, the village’s local history and heritage group will welcome you with a cuppa and biscuits, if you’d like to share your knowledge of the village’s history, or to learn more, or if you have anything you’d like us to research on your behalf. We are particularly interested in hearing your memories and scanning old photographs of the village for posterity.
