Come and meet the authors. CHILTERNS CRIME QUARTERLY. 2PM - SATURDAY, 14TH SEPTEMBER at Chalfont St Peter Community Library. Tickets £7 available at the library. All proceeds going to the library.

Buckinghamshire-based STEPH BROADRIBB has an MA in Creative Writing and trained as a Bounty Hunter in California. She is author of best-selling The Retired Detectives Club series. Her latest, co-written with MJ Arlidge, ‘The Reunion’, is due for release on 5 September

Hertfordshire resident MJ ARLIDGE has pursued a highly successful career in television, specialising in high-end drama production. He has produced a number of prime-time crime serials, including ‘Silent Witness’ for ITV and ‘The Last of the Mohicans’ for BBC.

London-based SJ BENNETT wrote several award-winning books for teenagers before turning her pen to her best-selling series of adult crime novels Her Majesty Investigates. Her books include: ‘The Windsor Knot’, ‘A Three Dog Problem’, ‘A Death in Diamonds’, ‘Murder Most Royal’ and ‘The Queen Who Came In From The Cold’.

West London-born DAVE SIVERS lives in Buckinghamshire. A writer all his life, his books include the Chiltern Noir series of popular detective novels featuring Aylesbury Vale detectives DI Lizzie Archer and DS Dan Baines, and his DI Nathan Quarrel series set in Hertfordshire.

Buckinghamshire-based MORGEN BAILEY has a multi-faceted career. She writes crime & mystery fiction and non-fiction. Her 39 published books include crime thrillers ‘One For The Road’, ‘After Jessica’ and ‘Hitman Sam’.

Event host, Chalfonts-based DENISE BEDDOWS is an award-winning author of 16 books, including her best-selling Thames House Files series of crime/espionage novels and also true crime.

We're looking for friendly faces to assist, from time to time, with events by:

☕ Serving teas and coffees
🪑 Setting up and putting away chairs
📇 Helping with leaflet drops
🎨 Running craft sessions for kids during school holidays
🍰 Baking once in a while

🌟 Local Author Spotlight: Bruce Marshall's Generous Gift to Our Community! 📚

We’re thrilled to share a heartwarming story that highlights the generosity and talent right here in Chalfont St Peter! Bruce Marshall, a resident of Woodland Manor Care Home @woodlandmanorcarehome , recently penned a fantastic book that has caught the attention of many in our community. After our initial Facebook post about Bruce's achievement, a keen-eyed follower (Deborah Field) suggested that his book should be available in Chalfont St Peter Library. 📖✨

Beth, our dedicated book buyer, quickly got in touch with Bruce and the wonderful team at Woodlands Care Home. And guess what? Bruce kindly donated a copy of his book to the library! 🎉

A huge thank you to Bruce for sharing his work with all of us. We’re so lucky to have local talents like him who are willing to contribute to our vibrant community. His book is now available at Chalfont St Peter Library—come check it out and get inspired by Bruce’s incredible story! 🙌📚

A huge 'thank you' to Mrs Priya Gill, her two daughters - Simran Sikka and Coco Sikka - and husband, for the wonderful Cake Sale and raffle they organised today for the benefit of Chalfont St Peter Community Library .

They raised over £150 and we are incredibly grateful. All the money will go towards the running costs of the library. A few photos of some happy customers and the delicious baked items they purchased 🎂 🥮 🍥. Thank you to everyone who came and made the morning such a great success 🙌 👍 👏
