Friends of the Library
Our library is completely run by volunteers and governed by an elected management committee.
The Friends of CSP Community Library play an important part in the success of this community library and we are urging you to please become a member of this important group.
'The Friends' play a crucial role in the library. They are able to take part in electing the library’s trustees (and management committee) at the Annual General Meeting and their vote helps to determine how our library will continue to operate and grow. The Friends’ subscriptions help to fund library improvements and to ensure that the library is able to maintain the best possible stock selection for both adults and children. We are determined to maintain a small but high quality library and information centre, free for all to use, and focussed on the needs of our local residents, but a community library cannot survive without financial backing from its community.
The Friends annual subscription is a minimum of £10, but you may of course give more. Alternatively, you may wish to set up a monthly or quarterly standing order. If you are sending a cheque, please make it payable to The Chalfont St Peter Community Library.
'Friends' who are able to may wish to become a 'Benefactor' of the library by donating £100 or more.
To pledge your support for your local village library, please join ‘The Friends of the Library’.
Simply complete the subscription form and post it to The CSP Community Library, High Street, Chalfont St Peter, SL9 9QA, or hand it in at the library. Please do not post cash.
